About Diana Ashaka
Welcome!
I’m Diana, a licensed master’s level psychologist in Michigan. I work with individuals ages 18+ who are experiencing a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, work related stressors, and more. I have training in a number of evidence-based therapy interventions and techniques, which I use when personalizing a treatment plan consisting of goals that are relevant and meaningful to the individual.
Education and Training
I received my Master of Science in Clinical Health Psychology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Wayne State University. My training consisted of a variety of therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness based techniques, along with others I’ve gained through my work and continued training.
How I can help
As a therapist, my primary goal is to provide you with a safe and non-judgmental space where we can work together to address your concerns and promote your well-being. I am here to actively listen to your experiences and understand your unique perspective. Through our therapeutic collaboration, we can explore and navigate the challenges you may be facing, develop coping strategies, and identify personal strengths to facilitate growth and positive change.
